Freelance Forecasting
Selected Work
Fashion forecasting is like reading the world's pulse, searching for the stories behind what we wear. It’s not about crystal balls or magic—it’s about intuition, curiosity, data, and a deep understanding of cultural shifts beyond your own perspective. It requires being open to the unexpected...and expecting it. It’s asking, What sparked this trend? Why now? and Where will it take us next?

As forecasters, we dive into society's undercurrents, connecting the dots between everything from art to technology to health and everyday life. In this way, fashion is a reaction to everything around us. We can’t predict your future, but we can paint a vivid picture of what’s to come. It’s storytelling at its most visionary, turning whispers of the zeitgeist into tomorrow’s reality.

Internships + Freelance
In the summer of 2019, I was 17, freshly graduated from homeschooling, and my course was set for New York City to spend two weeks interning with Fashion Snoops.
During those two weeks, I got to collaborate across the agency, from Womenswear and Menswear to Beauty and Active, working on real-time reports and projects for industry clients.
Step back in time...
My relationship with Fashion Snoops began in 2017, when I traveled to their NYC office with the organization Girls for a Change (GFAC) on a fashion industry professional development and networking trip.
This was my first introduction to trend forecasting as a potential career path.
Interning with the Womenswear and Intimates + Swim teams in the summer of 2023 prompted a walk down memory lane, recalling my visits and relationship history with Fashion Snoops in 2017 and again in 2018.
In September of 2023, I embarked on a 24-hour trip to NYC to photograph store windows from directional retailers, from MANGO to Bergdorf Goodman, capturing key displays for the holiday season.

Present day...
Through the power of relationship building, I received a dream opportunity in the summer of 2024—a freelancing role with the Womenswear team...
