Simone Rocha: Artistic Sustainable Luxury
An Academic Poster
In Spring '24, I found myself gleefully in Scotland, studying at Glasgow Caledonian University, where the bustling streets of Glasgow fed my love of international fashion. In classes like Fashion Retail Environment and Sustainable Supply Chain Management, I studied how fashion journeys from concept to closet, navigating logistical, environmental, and social challenges along the way.
My final project spotlighted London-based luxury brand Simone Rocha, known for its flair for the bizarre, macabre, and whimsically feminine. Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I wove a visual narrative highlighting the brand’s supply chain, sustainability efforts, and omnichannel approach. My research led me to propose DHL as a logistics partner to seamlessly deliver Simone Rocha to her customers. It was a creative and analytical adventure, blending fashion’s artistry with the science of global operations.

Harnessing the Web
Finding information about a brand's logistics, from inventory management to production processes to shipping systems, can be a challenge, especially when a brand is not publically traded.
To assess these areas for the Simone Rocha brand, I utilized online resources such as a the brand's own webpages, company licensing websites, news articles and fashion publications, and more to made educated assumptions and suggestions.
